A netizen asked me to comment on Armenia canceling the purchase of the Tejas fighter jet. I checked with AI and learned that just days after the crash at the Dubai Airshow, Armenia terminated the procurement negotiations. However, they may now consider buying the Indian-made Su30MKI upgraded variant. Frankly, the Armenians have lost their minds. They apparently need to be crushed by Azerbaijan one more time to understand that buying Indian weapons is suicide. The most terrifying thing about Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is not any specific product, but the fact that once any aircraft goes through their maintenance, the accident rate skyrockets. The company has earned the nickname Widow Maker and is a genuine producer of flying coffins. Armenia would be the first country on earth to deeply tie its arsenal to Indian equipment, yet India is a nation that has been defeated by Pakistan, and Pakistan-backed weapon systems helped Azerbaijan crush Armenia in war.
If I were Armenian, I would immediately seek to restore relations with Azerbaijan and spend the precious budget on improving people’s livelihoods instead of weapons. Rather than throwing hard-earned dollars at India, it is better to give up the military option and become a peaceful neutral country. Azerbaijan is not a major regional power. As long as Armenia shows humility, Baku is willing to live in peace. Excessive aggression would only invite intervention from other major powers. This is the real way for Armenia to survive. For small countries, it is a helpless but necessary choice. It may hurt national pride, but the current international order is no longer the globalized world of the past. Under US pressure, the world is returning to the law of the jungle. In such an order, small countries have no dignity. Only by choosing the right survival strategy can people avoid war and live happily. The only outcome for small nations chasing military power is to be devoured by war itself. It is never worth the cost. I hope Armenians think this through clearly.
On this topic, India is truly a magical country with no real friends internationally, and there are several reasons. First, it is weak yet loves to boast, expand, and interfere in others’ affairs, leaving it on bad terms with almost all its neighbors. Second, its government lacks credibility, its society suffers from moral decay, and fraud is widespread, so no one in the world dares to trust India. Third and most importantly, every country that gets deeply involved with India suffers severe backlash. For example, after large Indian immigration, Canada’s social welfare system is collapsing. Australia and New Zealand face similar problems. India loves to posture as the leader of the Global South, yet compared to continuous aid from China and the US to Africa, plus China’s massive infrastructure investment there, India only talks big, schemes to profit from Africa, and has made no real contribution. Therefore, any wise national leader, especially of a small country, would see staying far away from India as the most rational choice.
Recall the small kingdoms India swallowed, especially Sikkim, and you will understand that India is a greedy nation with no bottom line. It interferes in the internal affairs of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives, and even tries to dictate Bhutan’s foreign policy. Yes, friends, a country where hundreds of millions go hungry and openly defecate in the streets wants to teach Bhutan how to live. Does it want Bhutanese people to become beggars like Indians, living with less dignity than animals, throwing garbage everywhere and defecating in public? India is filled with lies, arrogance, and delusion. They live in a parallel universe where India is a mighty superpower respected by the whole world, and everyone loves and envies Indians.
As for “Make in India,” I really must warn Armenians: think carefully. Besides cow dung and curry, what competitive products does India have for the world? Before Modi took power, he bragged during his campaign that India would replace China as the world’s factory and become the global office and financial center. Indians made countless posters and videos, lost in wild self-deception. Eleven years later, manufacturing still hovers around 15 percent of GDP. Far from replacing China, India imports massive amounts of goods from China every year with precious dollars, running a $100 billion trade deficit. Almost every weapon India develops is notorious for poor quality and endless delays. The BrahMos missile, hyped as an all-purpose wonder weapon for land, sea, and air forces, achieved nothing in conflicts with Pakistan. The Tejas fighter and Vikrant carrier dared not even join the fight. Meanwhile, Pakistani pilots flying their JF17 with Chinese missiles boldly attacked Indian S400 positions. Of course, I must praise the bravery and outstanding combat skills of Pakistani soldiers. But reliable weapons are the foundation of courage. If they were flying Indian flying coffins whose missiles could not even lock on target, no amount of bravery or skill would matter.
Look at the Indian pilot at the Dubai Airshow, reportedly a lieutenant colonel. One tiny mistake and he could not recover; the plane crashed, the entire process was filmed by military enthusiasts worldwide. Imagine what his family felt watching that video.
The Indian Air Force has already lost hundreds of fighters, enough to arm a medium-sized military power. Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat himself died in a helicopter crash. The Dhruv helicopters India exported to Ecuador: out of seven delivered, four crashed. The crash rate was so high that Ecuador sealed the remaining three as scrap metal.
I have repeatedly advised Indians: first make a reliable rifle to replace the joke that is the INSAS, then achieve the ability to produce your own bullets instead of importing them, or at the very least make proper screws before dreaming of fighters, tanks, aircraft carriers, and nuclear submarines. You cannot even walk steadily, yet you want to sprint. How is that possible? Armenians, are you sure you want to learn running from someone who can barely walk? Think again, get your heads examined, or next time you will be humiliated by Azerbaijan again, losing more land and then forced to shake hands and fake a smile. Is there anything more shameful than that?
