Arab NATO Fails: More Lessons Needed to See US and Israel Won't Bring Peace!

A few days ago, some netizens asked me to comment on the Arab NATO. I only made a video about the Saudi Arabia and Pakistan alliance. It’s not that I don’t value Arab countries, but when I saw the news, my first reaction was that it wouldn’t work. Although the US betrayal of Qatar made Arab countries realize the US is unreliable, I knew they would keep fighting among themselves. Qatar and the UAE have conflicts, Egypt wants leadership, and Shia and Sunni factions distrust each other. This is why, despite their vast territory and large population, Arab countries are divided by the US. Imagine if Arab countries could truly unite, how could a tiny Israel dominate the Middle East?

As expected, on September 29, 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu apologized to Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammed Al Thani in a three-way call hosted by US President Trump at the White House. He apologized for Israel’s September 9 airstrike on Doha, saying it targeted Hamas, not Qatar, and promised no such incidents would happen again. Qatar accepted the apology and expressed willingness to continue mediating the Gaza conflict. I think Qatar’s leaders must have had their heads slammed in a door. It’s like paying a corrupt cop protection money for years, only to come home one day and find your wife and daughter violated by the thug he protects. Then the cop makes the thug apologize, promising no future violations, so you accept the apology and keep paying the cop. Imagine if, a few days ago when the news broke, I made a video hyping up Arab unity as the dawn of a great new chapter. Wouldn’t this channel look utterly embarrassing now?

So, not everyone can do political commentary. My channel stands the test of time. I accurately predicted many outcomes of the China US trade war and tech war, as well as the India Pakistan conflict, US India tensions, and India’s space program fraud. I’m not bragging about my intelligence, but politics seems complex only until you calmly observe and spot the patterns. For example, if an Indian deceives you once, don’t feel bad, because they’ll deceive you again. Now Modi is the US watchdog, humiliated by Trump, and Indians feel ashamed. But you can bet that, given a new opportunity, India will unhesitatingly betray the Global South to serve as the US watchdog again.

Some may not understand why, after so many hardships, humiliation by Israel, and deception by the US, Arab countries can’t wake up. I say human nature is selfish. No matter how noble their words at meetings, people often compromise with reality when facing interest-driven choices. Take Egypt as an example. I first declare I have no negative views on Egypt; in fact, I firmly support friendly China Egypt relations. What I’m saying is, the Arab world once gave Egypt leadership, but you failed to seize it, messed it up, and let Israel become a monster. If Arab countries unite again, they don’t need Egypt’s leadership; a collective vote is enough. Why should you lead others? Are you richer or more militarily powerful than other countries? Vanity won’t make a nation strong; chasing vanity only harms national interests. India is a classic example. Today’s Egypt is nothing like the Egypt under Nasser. What Nasser couldn’t achieve, you certainly can’t now. Stay humble.

Now to Qatar and the UAE: what irreconcilable hatred do you have? Is it worse than Israel bombing you or the US extorting your interests yearly? Do you think the US will truly protect you? Israel can bomb you once; it can bomb you again. Once a dog tastes blood, it never forgets. You’re willing to hand over piles of money to the US for an empty security promise but won’t use it to resolve your disputes?

Honestly, Saudi Arabia has plenty of problems, but its recent decisions are mostly correct. Since Arab countries can’t truly unite, signing a military alliance with Pakistan is the best choice. With Pakistan’s nuclear umbrella, no one except a superpower like the US dares to attack. Plus, Pakistan is China’s strategic corridor to the Middle East, vital to the Chinese. Binding Pakistan binds China. China and Saudi Arabia already have deep military cooperation. Pakistan solves its funding issues, Saudi Arabia solves its security issues, and China gains a more reliable Middle East corridor, unafraid of threats from India or the US. That’s great. I’ve always believed only interests can truly unite different nations. China isn’t Islamic, Pakistan isn’t Arab, but Saudi Arabia made its choice. That takes courage to face risks, because all gains come from taking risks.

So, to Qatar, I say you made the wrong choice. Arab countries should reflect on what your core interests are. I don’t believe you can find greater common interests with the US and Israel than among yourselves. If your heads can still think clearly, you’ll realize the US and Israel will never be your friends, nor will they ever trust you.
