Indians must answer for Modi's clownish behavior; stop playing the victim against critics!

I saw a comment from an Indian netizen in the comment section. He said that although he hates everything related to Modi and the BJP, I should not mock Modi for wearing a skirt because that is India’s traditional clothing, just like China’s qipao. I understand his thinking, but I also hope you understand my attitude. You hate Modi and everything related to him, which shows that your evaluation of something carries strong subjective coloring. Your attitude will not be consistent with that of Modi’s fans. Similarly, you and I are different people, so our attitudes on the same issue will also differ. I hope you can understand that when I mock Modi for wearing a skirt, it is not to belittle India’s traditional clothing, but because his dressing style fundamentally contradicts his so-called tough guy image.

No tough guy would wear a skirt. I am thinking from this angle. In addition, to satirize Modi, I need an entry point, and his skirt outfit is one of them. You can think I have malice toward Modi, but that is normal. After all, if you face someone who all day promotes slogans against your country and racially discriminates against your nation, how would you treat him? When Modi said “slit eyes” and called on people to boycott Chinese products, he stood on the opposite side of Chinese people. He does not respect China, so why should Chinese people respect him? He is India’s prime minister, elected by you Indian people with your votes. His behavior represents India this country and represents you Indian people. Facing such a clown country, why should Chinese people be polite and respectful? Does your country respect China and Chinese people? Look at your media, all day reporting lies related to China. Please note that these are outright fabrications. They not only seriously violate YouTube’s community rules but also violate media professional ethics. However, you Indian people did not stop all this from happening; instead, you frantically celebrate in the comment sections. When your Bollywood and other film bases produce a large number of false movies that belittle Chinese people, did you step forward to stop them? If you cannot stop you Indian people and the entire Indian society’s hostility toward China, then you must accept the counterattack from Chinese people. I originally did not hate India. It was you Indian people who did not know self-respect and angered me. My counterattack against you is just right.

Your comment shows your extreme ignorance. I do not know how you Indian people view your own traditional clothing, but please do not compare it with China’s traditional clothing. China’s traditional clothing does not have men wearing skirts. I am not saying that Chinese culture is necessarily superior, but Chinese people have not forgotten their traditional attire as you said. Whether it is qipao, Tang suit, Zhongshan suit, or Hanfu, or the traditional attire of ethnic minorities such as Manchu, Tibetan, Mongolian, and Uyghur, all have been well preserved. However, as national leaders, when attending international political occasions, wearing a decent suit is etiquette. China, Japan, and Korea all have their own national costumes, but leaders wear suits when meeting foreign guests and attending international events, unless it is a special occasion where foreign guests are invited to wear traditional clothing together. Videos of China’s traditional attire have a large number of fans and high traffic on social media such as TikTok and YouTube. Chinese people have not forgotten them; they also improve them with modern elements and share them with the world. Of course, Chinese people have not forgotten their own language. Chinese is the world’s largest language with the most speakers, and other minority languages also have dedicated courses. China’s leaders and politicians speak Chinese on international occasions. In contrast, look at your prime minister Modi speaking his broken English. Trump even arranged a special English interpreter to translate Modi’s English. Is this not humiliating enough? Your foreign minister Jaishankar, when accepting interviews, does he speak your Indian language? He speaks English.

Defending national traditions and following international etiquette are not contradictory. There is an existing international system. Diplomatic etiquette was dominantly established by Westerners. If you want to integrate into international society, you must follow the basic order of international society. You Indian politicians can insist on expressing factors of India’s traditional clothing. Chinese diplomats occasionally wear Zhongshan suits too. The problem is that Modi, as India’s prime minister, has to show India’s image to the world. Do you India want to cling to the illusory Bharat culture, or show a posture of integrating into the world? Modi’s slogan is to replace China as the world’s factory. Wearing a skirt cannot adapt to modern labor and does not conform to international conventions. To become the world’s factory, you Indian people must wear modern work clothes in factories and suits in business negotiations. This can both improve efficiency and make customers feel they have received basic respect. Otherwise, who would be willing to invest in your India and set up factories? Look at this Foxconn Apple production line. How many Indian people in it are wearing your traditional clothing? Would Foxconn and Apple allow you to wear traditional clothing for assembly line work?

I have mentioned many times in the video that you Indian people should stop always posing as victims and accusing others of racism. I want to ask you Indian people: if your media did not spread rumors and slander China, how many Chinese people would care about you? If Chinese people were not angered by your rumors and slander, would we abandon our good lives to attack your shithole-like country? Please note that shithole is not my term to describe your India; it is wording used by multiple US politicians. You can search more on YouTube. If you want to report racism, go report Americans. Do not forget to report your media and Prime Minister Modi along the way.

Regarding Chinese people mentioning Pizza Hut and KFC, yes, my son likes them very much. Children like Western food that has been localized, not only the food; they also watch American movies and go to Disney parks to play. Oh, I forgot, you India do not have Disney parks because the Bharat empire disdains opening American theme parks. There are 6 Disney resorts worldwide: 2 in the US, 2 in China, 1 in Japan, and 1 in France. Chinese people never reject advanced Western culture and are not ashamed to consume advanced Western products. Apple and Tesla have very high sales in China. However, our local catering brands such as Haidilao, Mixue Bingcheng, and Luckin Coffee have also entered the US and are deeply welcomed by foreign customers. China also has local amusement parks like Fantawild, and similar theme parks in every city. In China, local catering brands undoubtedly have greater influence and more consumer groups. But Chinese parents never say that KFC, McDonald’s, and Pizza Hut are American brands so we should boycott them. Only good competition can bring progress. Full competition between local food culture and foreign brands can improve service quality. I do not know if you can fully understand these issues.

To be honest, if I lived for 2 days in India’s 45-degree heat in a slum without air conditioning, my thinking would certainly be chaotic. I would have no way to think clearly. Some cognitive obstacles would be understandable. When you face strong criticism from foreign netizens, you can think like this: is it only a minority criticizing India and Indian people? Is the criticism of India limited only to Modi rather than various uncivilized behaviors of all you Indian people? Is there a large number of people who hold the same view as you, thinking that criticism of India is racism? If you find that almost all netizens from other countries are fiercely criticizing you and counterattacking you, you should reflect on your own problems instead of being like Palki Sharma, who is the biggest liar herself yet questions global media bias against India.
